Where the name comes from
In the 1980s, a professional tennis player lost her diamond bracelet mid-match, and play stopped until it was found. The story gave the piece its name. It is a diamond made for daily life, one that stays with you even through vigorous movement.
What the carat weight actually changes
It is often misunderstood: a larger total carat weight does not make the bracelet longer. What changes is the size of each individual diamond.

On paper, the difference between 1.5mm and 2.0mm sounds like almost nothing. On the wrist, it reads clearly.

How to choose
- To layer with a watch: choose 1.3ct. It stays slim and follows the watch naturally. If fine rubbing concerns you, it can also be worn on the opposite wrist.
- For one piece that completes the look: 2ct is the one. It holds its own from everyday wear to special evenings.
- To wear the most light: choose 3ct. Each stone keeps its outline, and the presence does not fade even under evening light.
None of these is the single right answer. What suits you depends on how you dress, and on the watch or bracelets you want beside it. If you are in Tokyo, all three can be tried on at our gallery in Daikanyama.
Finding your length, with measuring steps
Measure the narrowest part of your wrist and add 2cm. That little ease lets the bracelet move softly on the wrist, and it is that gentle sway that looks most beautiful. The extra 2cm exists for exactly this.
Choosing the metal
Platinum is the quietest of the white metals; it lets the colourlessness of the diamonds speak, never tarnishes, and keeps the same expression for decades. 18K yellow gold is a warm colour that flatters the skin, and the contrast with the white of the diamonds makes the whole piece feel lighter.
Matching the metal to the jewellery and watch you already wear makes everything settle together beautifully when layered.

The stones, and where the bracelets are made
ANNA DIAMOND tennis bracelets use only lab-grown diamonds of F colour or above and VS clarity or above. Near-colourless from F, and clear of inclusions to the naked eye from VS. We never chase size at the cost of the stone.
Each bracelet is made in Kofu, Yamanashi, one of Japan's great jewellery-making towns, where an experienced artisan sets the stones one by one. The clasp is a double-lock design: easy to fasten, hard to lose. It is a specification born from the assumption that you will wear it every day.

If you have to choose without knowing the wrist, choose a middle size. We adjust the length once, free of charge, within a year of purchase, so it can be fitted afterwards.

I worry about it coming undone and falling off.
The clasp is a double-lock design that fastens in two stages: easy to put on, and made not to slip open. If it ever starts to feel loose, we will inspect it for you at our Tokyo gallery.
What happens if a stone comes out?
Every piece carries a 2-year quality warranty, and we continue to take repairs after the warranty ends. Please get in touch first.
What if I chose the wrong length?
Within a year of purchase, we adjust the length once, free of charge.
