Phones and computers hold metal resources such as gold, silver, and platinum. Yet recovering a specific metal from such complex assemblies takes cost and effort, so in most cases they are simply left behind.

Metal is finite. Of gold, silver, and mercury in particular, more than 70 percent of the earth's total reserves have already been mined, and it is said more now sleeps as urban mine than remains in the ground.

We turn that urban mine into jewelry. It does not matter who discarded it. As successors among the earth's inhabitants, we turn the urban mine before us into radiant jewelry.

Rather than extracting what little natural resource remains, subliming the waste humanity has made into jewelry may be one important step in passing the baton to future generations.
