Why made to order
I originally worked as a copywriter.
And for me, someone who had worked with words, I felt a deep romance in making things you can touch with your hands, and in jewelry that outlasts our own lifetimes. So I began ANNA DIAMOND.
Jewelry is not a mere ornament.
It is imbued with spirit, shining only when the wearer pours their hopes and beliefs into it.
You carry your own axis, the place you return to when in doubt, as a part of your skin.
It is that experience of wearing meaning that I wish to offer.
That is why, rather than only choosing from ready made pieces,
we draw out, through conversation, a form with meaning found nowhere else in the world.
We find great significance in creating, together with you, a piece of jewelry unlike any other on earth.

The lily of the valley was not an idea we had from the start. It emerged, quite by chance, in the course of her listening carefully to the story of how we met and came to marry.
