To explore new possibilities for the pearl, we are launching Project "Another Aspect of Pearls."
As its first chapter, we will hold a special nail event, “Shell” We Nail?, at the ANNA DIAMOND Gallery.


[ Project "Another Aspect of Pearls" ]

An attempt to explore another side of the pearl.
Since ancient times, pearls have continued to captivate.
Even today, as a symbol of adornment,
they remain beloved around the world.

Among them, the pearl often called the "king of pearls"
is the Japanese Akoya pearl.
ANNA DIAMOND has long pursued
new expressions of the pearl's beauty,
through jewelry made with Akoya pearls of unique colors and shapes,
and through lustrous plaster walls.

And now, in the summer of 2025,
to deepen this exploration further,
we are launching Project "Another Aspect of Pearls."


[ Event "Shell" We Nail? ]

The first chapter of the project is the nail event "Shell" We Nail?.
In collaboration with Nail Designer SHUKO MIYATA,
you can experience gel nail designs created using shells left behind after the pearls have been harvested.
These are original designs by SHUKO MIYATA, inspired by pearl jewelry.


[ About SHUKO MIYATA ]

SHUKO MIYATA / NAIL DESIGNER
Founder of "TOHNE." After gaining experience at nail salons in Tokyo, she became independent in 2020. That May, she opened TOHNE in Kamiyama-cho, Shibuya-ku, and continues to offer minimal, modern designs for the fingertips with fresh ideas.
Today, alongside her salon work, she also oversees products such as gel nail stickers.
